CSMCRI Recruitment 2020 – Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute invites application form from the eligible candidates for the post of Technical Assistant – 04 posts, Technician – 02 posts. Candidates who completed their B.Sc/ ITI/ Diploma in respective disciplines are eligible to apply for this job. The selection process is based on the trade test/ examination. Educational Qualification:
Technical Assistant:
- First-class B.Sc. (Science)/ (with Chemistry as one of the subjects) one-year full-time professional qualification or one-year experience in the relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/organization
- First-class Diploma in Computer Engineering/ Civil Engineering of at least 3 years full-time duration or at least 2 years full-time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma courses or equivalent with experience of 2 years in relevant field
Technician:
- SSC/10th Standard with Science subjects with 55% marks plus ITI Certificate or national/ state trade certificate or 2 years full time experience as an apprentice trainee from a recognized institution in Horticulture Assistant Trade/ Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) trade
Upper Age Limit (as on 23.10.2020): 28 years.
Age Relaxation:
- 5 years for SC/ST Candidates.
- 3 years for OBC Candidates.
Post Wise Vacancies:
- Technical Assistant – 04 posts [01 reserved for OBC, 01 reserved for EWS, 02 unreserved]
- Technician – 02 posts [01 reserved for OBC, 01 unreserved]
Salary Details:
- Technical Assistant – Rs.49,188/-
- Technician – Rs.27,520/-
CSMCRI Recruitment Selection Process:
- The candidates as recommended by the Screening Committee will be invited for a trade test.
- Those who qualify in the trade test will be invited for a competitive written examination.
Competitive Written Examination:
- There will be three papers (Paper I, Paper-II and Paper III).
- Paper-II and Paper-III will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks (to be determined by the Selection Committee) in Paper-I.
- The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in Paper-II and Paper-III of the Competitive written examination.
